"Before, we had to walk long distances under the scorching sun to fetch water, and it wasn't always clean. Now, the clear water source is right at our doorstep, and we are truly grateful!"

In the hot, arid landscape of Niger, the scarcity of water has long been a concern for local residents. The CCCC team working on the Niger Zinder-Agadez Road Renovation and Maintenance Project (ZA project)has placed 10 wells along the 300-kilometer road and installed water pipelines to make water access more convenient for nearby residents.
Each well is a commitment to this land, and every drop of clean water represents our contribution to improving local livelihoods. As the project progresses, more initiatives benefiting the people will be implemented, turning this road into a true "road of development"!
"Before, we had to walk long distances under the scorching sun to fetch water, and it wasn't always clean. Now, the clear water source is right at our doorstep, and we are truly grateful!" said an elderly chief, deeply moved by the positive change.
