CCCC is actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility commitments through various initiatives.
Free medical services in Djibouti
In Djibouti, the CCCC project team organized a free medical service event by inviting the 23rd Chinese medical aid team stationed in Djibouti to the project site. The event included educational sessions on tropical diseases and first aid, followed by medical consultations.
The medical team provided detailed explanations on the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of common tropical diseases such as malaria and dengue fever. They also covered essential first aid knowledge and skills, including CPR and trauma care.
After the lecture, the medical team conducted health check-ups for the employees, offering treatment advice and medication guidance. Additionally, they supplied the project team with various anti-inflammatory, pain relief, and antibacterial medicines.
Community clean-up in Algeria
In Algeria, CCCC's team in Algiers and staff from the Arzew port expansion project organized volunteering clean-up activities. Around 50 employees participated in these activities.
The project team dispatched dump trucks to assist with waste collection and transportation in the community. Volunteers, in CCCC's signature "blue vests," actively participated in the clean-up efforts while also engaging with local residents to promote environmental awareness.
This event highlights the company's commitment to the principles of ESG, underscoring its dedication to environmental protection and sustainable development.
