"Seagull Talent Program" launched in Cameroon

The program offers hands-on training to the first cohort of 54 local youth, combining Chinese standards and local practice to strengthen infrastructure cooperation and vocational education.
Recently, CCCC's subsidiary, China First Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. (CFHEC) launched the "Seagull Talent Program" in Cameroon, with nearly 600 representatives from communities and educational institutions attending the ceremony.
The "Seagull Talent Program" serves as a talent incubator, cultivating a pool of local professionals with a global outlook, strong professional expertise, and effective cross-cultural communication skills. It supports the company's international growth by nurturing a new generation of talent, contributing to Africa's infrastructure development and modernization, cultivating a new generation of talent to support Africa's infrastructure development and modernization.
On this occasion,the Vocational Skills Certification Center and the CCCC Jingchu Workshop in Cameroon were also inaugurated, establishing a comprehensive "training-practice-evaluation-certification" talent development system.
The program adopts a distinctive "10% theory + 20% expert guidance + 70% on-site practice" training model. The first session will feature a 10-day professional skills certification course for engineering surveyors, jointly taught by experts from China and Cameroon. A total of 54 trainees will participate, and those who pass the assessment will receive a professional skills certificate jointly issued by the three parties.
