Recently, Kenyan international student Jamlick Mwangi Kariuki, sponsored by CRBC, visited Beijing Jiaotong University to share his experiences and reflections from nearly five years of studying and living in China.

Since his first visit in 2017, Kariuki has been deeply impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the Chinese people and the strong support from the university. Through the degree program jointly organized by CRBC and Beijing Jiaotong University, he systematically studied railway engineering and is determined to contribute to enhancing exchanges and cooperation between Kenya and other countries upon completing his studies.
"Understanding each other's culture, work ethics, and habits is the foundation of cooperation," said Kariuki. He encouraged more Kenyan youth to study in China, emphasizing the critical importance of cultivating professionals with an international perspective for Kenya's development.
As China-Kenya cooperation continues to deepen, young individuals like Kariuki are becoming bridges for cultural exchange and mutual learning, collectively writing a new chapter of progress for China and Africa hand in hand.
