Bogota Metro Line 1 operations trainees return to Colombia

To prepare for smooth operations, CHEC, with Xi'an Rail Transit Group, launched a training program to develop local expertise in metro operations and maintenance.
Forty young Colombian trainees have returned home after completing a 14-month training program in Xi'an. A welcome ceremony was held at the airport for the trainees and their families.
Bogota Metro Line 1 is Colombia's first modern metro line. To prepare for smooth operations, CHEC, with Xi'an Rail Transit Group, launched a training program to develop local expertise in metro operations and maintenance.
The trainees studied urban rail operations, equipment systems, and fault diagnosis. Based on Xi'an Metro's experience, the program included targeted on-site training and job shadowing.
