Colombia's rail transit talent training cooperation program launched
Recently, the Bogotá Metro Line 1 Project, Xi'an Rail Transit Group, and the Colombian School of Engineering Julio Garavito signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly carry out professional talent training for Colombia's rail transit sector.
The program will leverage China's advanced concepts and practical experience in metro operation, maintenance, and management to cultivate a new generation of highly skilled professionals with global vision for Colombia and the wider Latin American region.

Second batch of ECRL students begins training in China
The second batch of 142 students from eight Malaysian institutions has officially begun training at the Liuzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College. Over the course of one year, the students will receive systematic training in key railway disciplines, including locomotive operations, railway management, signaling systems, and power supply.
The East Coast Rail Link Industrial Skills Training Programme (PLKI-ECRL) aims to build a pool of local professionals for the future operation and maintenance of the ECRL. As of now, the project's overall progress has reached 87.14%, with 20 stations and four major maintenance bases entering the final construction phase. The first batch of 66 trainees and the current 142 trainees are expected to jointly participate in system testing and commissioning next year.

First vocational qualification assessment for Phnom Penh–Sihanoukville Expressway held in Cambodia
The Phnom Penh–Sihanoukville Expressway's operating company recently held the first round of vocational qualification assessments, attracting 144 participants, of whom 124 passed certification.
The evaluation combined theoretical and practical examinations, covering five key operational areas: traffic monitoring, incident clearance, road management, maintenance, and toll collection (including inspection).
As Cambodia's first modern expressway, the 187-kilometer Phnom Penh–Sihanoukville Expressway has been in operation since 2022, injecting strong momentum into the country's north–south connectivity and regional economic growth.
