In Laos
Recently, CWE conducted a series of lectures at the National University of Laos, with over 190 students from the university and the Polytechnic College in attendance.
The lectures aimed to promote the concept of green development among Lao youth while sharing technical expertise and achievements in the energy sector. Through accessible explanations of flagship hydropower projects in Laos—such as the Nam Lik 1-2 Hydropower Station, Nam Ngiep 2 Hydropower Project, and Nam Ngum 1 Hydropower Plant—students gained insight into how these projects convert water flow into electricity while safeguarding the ecological balance of basins.
In Cambodia
A delegation from Hohai University of China and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia recently visited a project site in Cambodia to explore collaboration opportunities. Discussions focused on key areas of collaboration including talent demand, joint talent cultivation, collaborative research, and resource sharing.
During the 2025 Jiangsu-ASEAN Education Cooperation Exchange Conference held in Phnom Penh, CWE signed internship and training base cooperation agreements with the two universities, formalizing plans to provide practical learning opportunities for international students.
