Uganda's seminar group visits CCCC
Recently, a seminar group of Uganda's Ministry of Works and Transport visited CCCC in Beijing for discussion and exchange.
Representative of the trainees said that a large number of high-quality projects constructed by CCCC in Uganda, such as the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway (KEE) and the upgrade and expansion of Entebbe International Airport, not only provide solid support for the economic development of Uganda, but also cultivate a large number of local professionals through technical training. Pragmatic initiatives such as the "Seagull Talent Training Program" have benefited Ugandan youth, increasing their abilities and broadening their horizons.
HKMU's seminar group visits the Split Vucevica Road Connection Line project in Croatia
Recently, representatives of teachers and students from civil engineering and the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) visited the Split Vucevica Road Connection Line project in Croatia to carry out exchange events.
Teachers and students went deep into the construction site of the main tunnel to get a close understanding of the structural layout and construction process of the tunnel, and listened to the project manager introduce the advanced technologies for tunnel construction under complex geological conditions, construction safety measures and the concept of green and low-carbon construction.
This visit is a vivid practice of school-enterprise collaborative education, which accumulates valuable experience for the future career development of the students.
An international conference in Malaysia
Recently, the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project management section 9 and the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) jointly organized an international conference on tunnel construction technology and safety control. More than 100 representatives from Malaysian Highway Authority, IEM, universities and research institutions in the field of engineering gathered in Selangor to participate in the conference.
The delegation visited the construction site of Tunnel 2A to understand more intuitively the technical level and management experience of CCCC in tunnel construction under complex geological conditions. This visit promoted the in-depth communication and cooperation between China and Malaysia in the field of engineering technology, and laid a good foundation for the establishment of a regular technical exchange mechanism.
Sharing session on the achievements of senior talent seminar in Laos
Recently, CCCC carried out a sharing session on the achievements of the senior talent seminar in Laos.
Senior talent seminar is an important initiative of CCCC to promote talent cultivation. At the sharing session, Laotian trainee Phouxay Vongphachanh, vividly talked about the harvest and experience of the training in the light of his own work, which built a bridge of knowledge sharing and experience exchange for the staff.
He focused on sharing his new knowledge and methods in project risk management and cross-cultural teamwork, and elaborated how to apply what he learned to practical work with the example of projects in Laos.
This sharing session strengthened the communication among employees, realized the effective transformation of the training results, and injected new momentum for the construction of talent team.
