With cicadas singing and summer in full swing, CCCC has organized a range of activities to enrich children's summer holidays.

In Sichuan, China

Volunteers from the Guizhou-Duyun Expressway expansion project (Contract Section TJ03) visited Gudong town to launch a public welfare childcare program, providing holiday care, academic support and emotional companionship for children left behind by migrant parents, and easing the concerns of families working away from home.

Designed around children's needs, the program combined academic assistance, safety education and personal development. To address challenges in summer assignments, volunteers patiently answered questions, helped children organize key knowledge points and improve areas where they needed support. Using familiar rural settings as examples, the volunteers also taught children practical safety knowledge, including drowning prevention, traffic safety, fire and electrical safety, personal safety, and bullying prevention. After study sessions, the volunteers also led the children in reading sessions, fun games, and cultural and sports activities, filling the once-quiet children's home with laughter and joy.

In Shanxi, China

Many overseas employees spend long periods working abroad and have limited time with their children. The company organized a summer camp for employees' children, which not only eased childcare pressures during the summer break but also helped children broaden their horizons and develop character through outdoor activities and group learning. The program further enhanced overseas employees' sense of belonging and happiness.

In Tanzania

The 28th batch of the Chinese medical team to the Tanzanian mainland and CCCC jointly held a health clinic at New Life Orphanage in Dar es Salaam, bringing warmth and care to children through medical services, charity donations and cultural activities.

Medical experts conducted health checkups for the children and offered consultations based on their developmental needs, providing guidance on personal hygiene, proper nutrition and disease prevention to help them develop healthy habits.

CCCC donated schoolbags, stationery, toys, sports equipment, fruits and other educational and daily supplies to the orphanage. Each thoughtfully prepared gift carried heartfelt wishes and hopes for the children's bright future.
