To mark International Children's Day, CCCC launched a series of heartwarming community outreach events across its global project sites, bringing joy, care, and support to children around the world. The pure smiles on the children's faces became the most beautiful memory of the holiday.
In Senegal
The project team of the Port of Ndayane visited a local primary school, donating educational and sports supplies. The school principal expressed heartfelt thanks for the project team's commitment to education and community development.
In Kenya
CCCC's Afristar volunteer team visited the Community Art Centre in Mathare area, Kenya, hosting a painting session with local children. The volunteers guided the young artists as they painted vivid scenes of the Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway and the deep-rooted friendship between China and Kenya. The children proudly shared their work, beaming with joy.
In Gabon
The Oyem Project team visited several schools along the project route, distributing school bags, stationery, and other learning materials. The visit reached over 220 students across nine schools. In addition, the team helped build a public toilet at one of the schools, significantly improving hygiene conditions.
In China
Parent-child events were organized by ZPMC, where nearly 40 employees and their children enjoyed activities such as crane puzzle games, spending quality time together in laughter and play.
At the Nanchuan Project in Chongqing, a special educational campaign titled "Thousands of Engineers Enter the Classroom" was launched to inspire the next generation with the wonders of modern construction. Engineers introduced students to landmark projects such as the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge and the Xiang'an Undersea Tunnel, helping them gain a firsthand understanding of integration between cutting-edge engineering and urban development. Through vivid storytelling and hands-on interaction, the event sparked students'curiosity in science and engineering, planting the seeds of innovation in young minds.
For the fifth consecutive year, Blue Vest volunteers visited a special education school to share a unique painting class with children with autism, bringing them festive joy and companionship.
Additionally, many project sites organized creative art contests for employees'children, collecting nearly 100 imaginative submissions that celebrated traditional culture, clean energy, environmental protection, and scientific discovery—all through a child's innocent perspective.
