Recently, the Nairobi Expressway, constructed by CRBC, hosted an Open Day event attended by over 60 students and teachers from Mukuru Primary School in Nairobi.
Students and teachers toured the expressway's toll station, service center, and monitoring hall, where they learned about the project's background, its operational objectives, and the ways modern technology is used to enhance traffic flow and minimize environmental impact. The event also highlighted CCCC's commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, with a particular emphasis on its support for education and communities.

The Open Day event was more than an opportunity for company-community interaction; it showcased the company's ESG commitments in action. The event strengthened CCCC's ties with the community and enhanced young Kenyans' understanding of modern, smart transportation infrastructure.
Highly praising the event, Mukuru Primary School Principal Idah said that this has been a rare opportunity for them to learn a great deal about road construction and management. They hope for more opportunities like this in the future.
