At the start of the new semester, the children of Boung Village welcomed their new school!
The handover ceremony of the Boung Village Primary School Project, undertaken by CCCC's subsidiary CWE, was held. The village is located near the Nam Ngiep 2 hydropower station, and due to the inconvenient transportation and a lack of facilities, the children previously had to travel dozens of kilometers to study in town. After six months of effort, CWE completed the construction of this new school. It covers an area of 324 square meters, with four classrooms and one office, equipped with full water and electricity facilities as well as teaching equipment. It can accommodate up to 60 students, and the children's way to school has been reduced to within 1,000 meters.
This school construction is another step in CWE's efforts to fulfill its social responsibility, following its previous work in providing electricity and building roads for the village. In the future, CWE will continue to contribute to the well-being of the local community.
