Heavy rainfall has recently caused flooding in Nigeria, severely affecting villages along the Owo Road in Enugu State. In response, the CCCC project team swiftly mobilized to assist with local flood relief, demonstrating the company's commitment to its social responsibilities through concrete action.

The team promptly procured and distributed food, drinking water and other essential supplies free of charge to help meet the basic needs of affected residents. It also mobilized construction equipment and personnel to work with the local governments and communities to clear drainage channels, remove accumulated silt and debris, and drain floodwaters, helping minimize the impact of the flooding.

The project team also sent technical specialists to survey the local terrain, waterways and drainage systems and identify the causes of flooding. Their findings will support future flood prevention efforts and help strengthen the area's long-term resilience.
