Grasping the hands of the rescuers, he repeatedly says,"At our most dangerous moment, it was our Chinese friends who reached out without hesitation. We will always remember this kindness."
On the morning of December 25, 2025, in waters near Kilwa Masoko, a local ferry carrying fourteen passengers and cargo begins to list and sink. Upon receiving distress signals, the duty vessel from the fishing port project immediately initiated emergency protocols. Relying on skilled navigation and prior experience in maritime emergencies, the rescue team navigates rough seas and successfully brings all passengers to safety. After the rescue, team members conduct basic health checks for each survivor and ensure their safe transfer ashore for proper care.
