In response to a distress call, CCCC's Junyang 1, Asia's largest trailing suction hopper dredger, swiftly rescued a sand barge near Fotheyo Bodufushi Island. All 7 crew members were saved.
"Full left rudder, accelerate towards the sand barge!" This was the immediate rescue command given by the captain of "Junyang 1", Asia's largest trailing suction hopper dredger owned by CCCC, after receiving a distress call during operations near the Fotheyo Bodufushi Islandin the Maldives. After over two hours of intense efforts, Junyang 1 successfully saved a sand barge that had gone out of control and was dangerously close to running aground, rescuing all seven crew members on board.
The next day, the crew of Junyang 1 received a thank-you letter from the barge's owner, praising the calm and professional response of the CCCCers. Maritime rescue knows no borders, and in the future, CCCCers will continue to demonstrate the responsibility and commitment expected of CCCC through solid actions!
