Chancay Port Project department rushed to repair the riverbanks of the Chancay River that had been washed away due to heavy rainfall, which is well received by local people.
Affected by heavy rain, the water level of the Chancay River in Peru soared, and part of the riverbanks was washed away. CCCC's Chancay Port Project department responded timely and strengthened 120-m-long riverbanks with the reinforcement plan in the shortest time, protecting public transport roads and crops around.
The repair was highly praised by local people as it minimized the impact of heavy rainfall on the area.
