During the construction of the Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, the team from CCCC adhered to the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. They implemented innovative measures to protect local wildlife and the environment, including the establishment of 14 wildlife corridors. This initiative set a benchmark for modern railway construction aimed at safeguarding wildlife and the environment. The Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway commenced operations on May 31, 2017, greatly promoting socioeconomic development in Kenya and even across East Africa. Read more:
