On February 27, the Ambassadors Face to Face with China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) activity was held in Beijing. A total of 111 representatives from 110 embassies and international organizations attended the event, including 20 ambassadors to China, 7 chargé d'affaires, and 1 representative of an international organization. The diplomats gained first-hand insights into CCCC's focus on the "big transportation" and "big cities" sectors, as well as its achievements in promoting high-quality development under the Belt and Road Initiative while adhering to new development concepts.
After the roundtable discussion, the diplomats visited the smart light showroom of Beijing Landsky, a subsidiary of CCCC, and the newly opened urban regeneration hall, experiencing the infinite possibilities of light technology and smart cities. These two exhibitions are new areas opened up by CCCC based on its "big city" business and the integration of digital, information, and intelligent technologies.
In the smart light showroom, diplomats experienced some of the world's leading light technologies, witnessing how these innovations enhance the efficient use of underground spaces and empower future smart cities. Through the power of light technology, CCCC is illuminating the path to a better future, a sentiment echoed by the diplomats, who praised the cutting-edge applications and their potential impact.
Located in Haidian District, Beijing, the urban regeneration hall spans 3,800 square meters and serves as a leading platform for showcasing and exchanging ideas on urban renewal. It integrates both Chinese and international concepts, policies, and best practices in urban regeneration.
In this immersive space, diplomats engaged with interactive technologies such as circular displays, tabletop interfaces, a flying theater, and VR experiences, which vividly illustrated the models of urban renewal. The project's emphasis on digital industrialization aims to create livable, resilient, and smart cities, positioning the urban regeneration hall as a beacon for the future of urban development in China.
