San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge in the USA

The world's longest-span single-tower self-anchored suspension bridge at the time

Originally built in 1933, the bridge serves as a critical transportation artery for San Francisco, divided into eastern and western sections. The eastern section, severely damaged by an earthquake, was rebuilt in 1998. The steel structures of this 2.88-kilometer landmark, weighing 45,000 tons, were entirely manufactured by ZPMC. The new bridge features a 160-meter-high steel tower, recognized as the world's tallest earthquake-resistant steel tower.
