Lekki Port in Nigeria

Nigeria's first modern deep-sea port

Located in the Lagos Free Trade Zone, Lekki Port can accommodate 18,000-TEU container vessels and features a designed annual throughput capacity of 1.2 million TEUs, making it one of the largest ports in West Africa. Serving as a new driver of economic growth for Nigeria, the deep-sea port is the country's first port to conduct international transshipment operations. During a 45-year period, the project is expected to create 170,000 job opportunities.
