The project features a total water conveyance pipeline of 723 kilometers. Once completed, the project will deliver abundant water resources to northern Anhui and southern Henan, effectively mitigating regional water scarcity. It will substantially enhance the ecological environment of Chaohu Lake and the Huaihe River basin, directly benefiting a population of over 50 million.
