Construction of the Phase 4 of Shanghai Yangshan Deepwater Port spanned from April 2002 to December 2017, serving as a key driver of growth for the port's service capacity. As the primary contractor, CCCC delivered comprehensive industry-chain services encompassing survey and design, land reclamation, channel dredging, terminal construction, and the manufacturing and installation of fully automated port machinery. The launch of the Phase 4 in December 2017—the world's largest automated smart terminal—marked a new milestone in China's mega-port operation and sustainable development.
