CCCC has developed key technologies for asphalt pavement construction and maintenance of expressways in permafrost areas, leading the global development of road engineering technology in extreme environments. These technological achievements have supported major projects including the Qinghai-Xizang Highway, the Xinjiang-Xizang Highway, the Qinghai-Xizang Railway, the Gonghe-Yushu Expressway, the Qingyuan-Huadu Expressway, and the Heihe-Beishan Highway.
