On Nov. 6, 2022, when Tanzania's PW494 flight crashed into a lake, CCCC employee Zhang Lin first saved himself. Yet he then made a life-risking return to the tail section of the aircraft and rescued a local infant, an act of bravery that touched people both in China and abroad. During his overseas assignment, Zhang has actively contributed to the company's corporate social responsibility efforts. He has helped train local technical workers, and has worked to help address challenges in access to clean water, transportation, and electricity.
