Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway

The Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway is Cambodia's first highway, which commenced operations in October 2022. After its opening, the travel time from the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, to the country's largest deep-water seaport, Sihanoukville, has been reduced from the original 5 hours to less than 2 hours. This substantial reduction in logistics costs has stimulated economic and industrial development along the route, thereby driving Cambodia's economic growth.
