Pelješac Bridge

The Peljesac Bridge and its linking-up road project, with a total length of 3.94 kilometers, including a bridge spanning 2.44 kilometers long and 22.5 meters wide, stands as an exemplary project of trilateral cooperation between China, Croatia, and Europe. On July 26, 2022, the bridge was inaugurated, bypassing the need to drive through a short strip of Bosnia and Herzegovina's territory when travelling between the northern and southern parts of Croatia.
The project won the 2023 FIDIC Project Excellence Award, the 40th Gustav Lindenthal Medal of the International Bridge Conference - the Nobel Prize in the bridge industry, and IABSE Shortlisted Award for Infrastructure.
