Nineteen Years of a Relay Race Builds the Bond of Friendship Between China and Egypt
Ethiopia is renowned as the "home of African long-distance running". In 2004, CCCC, together with Ethiopian long-distance track and road running athlete and two-time Olympic gold medalist Haile Gebrselassie, organized the IFH Road Race Relay. By integrating corporate social responsibility with local traditional culture, they promoted road traffic safety, turning the event into a well-known sports event in Ethiopia. To date, it has been held for 19 editions, attracting nearly 40,000 participants in total.
