Marcos, a translator and on-site foreman of the CHEC-undertaken Odienne Border Road Project Between Mali and Guinea in Côte d'Ivoire, likes singing at the canteen during his spare time. He says singing not only makes people cheerful but also passes happiness.
Once studying in China, Marcos is good at singing Chinese songs, among which "My Future Is Not A Dream" is his favorite, as it sounds exciting and inspiring.
According to Marcos, thanks to the project, which has provided more than 1,500 local job opportunities and will be a major traffic artery of the country, enables local people to embrace a more convenient life and a promising future. It just echoes the lyrics "My future is not a dream, and my heart beats with hope".
