Growth & Friendship
Li Jia'an, Li Caihou & Arnold

In the Solomon Islands of the South Pacific, the Munda airport runway upgrade project, constructed by CCCC's subsidiary CHEC, witnessed the growth and transformation of a local young man named Arnold!
When Arnold joined the project team as a safety officer, his first Chinese mentor was Li Jia'an, who was responsible for safety work. Li Jia'an taught Arnold safety regulations and local laws step by step. As Arnold's skills developed, he was assigned to handle external communication affairs by the department. It was during this time that he met his second Chinese mentor, technician Li Caihou. Arnold worked closely with him and realized that maintaining good relationships with the surrounding people and the upstream and downstream partners is the foundation for project development. Gradually, Arnold has grown into a comprehensive management talent.
Through his interactions with his mentors and colleagues, Arnold also gained a profound understanding of Chinese culture. His progress is a successful example of the "one-on-one" training model between Chinese personnel and local workers. This approach has facilitated the transfer of skills and the fostering of friendships between employees from both countries.
