Ulan, a translator who began working at the Turgusun Hydropower Station in Kazakhstan in 2018, has transformed from a translator into a versatile worker.

Ulan attributes his growth to his efforts and, more importantly, the careful guidance of his Chinese mentor, Li Bin. Besides translation work, Teacher Li also guided him in learning every aspect of power station operation.

Ulan often tells his local friends that he is very grateful to his mentor. The construction of the Turgusun Hydropower Station has not only solved a significant employment problem for his hometown but also improved its environment.
