Meet the Xinhaixun, world-largest dual-fuel dredger. By utilizing LNG power, this vessel reduces carbon and nitrogen oxide emissions while boosting efficiency with its advanced intelligent control system, pioneering green dredging and eco-friendly shipping in China.
Not only has a "clean heart," but also has an "intelligent brain"! This is the "Xinhaixun", the world's largest and China's first large trailing suction hopper dredger with a dual-fuel power system, invested in by CCCC and built by ZPMC.
With a total length of 155.7 meters, it primarily uses liquefied natural gas to reduce carbon emissions by 20% and nitrogen oxide emissions by over 80% compared to traditional diesel engines.
To meet diverse operational needs, "Xinhaixun" is also equipped with China's most advanced intelligent dredging control system, enhancing operational efficiency by 8%. This vessel fills a gap in clean-energy dredging applications in China, advancing green shipping domestically and injecting new momentum toward the dual carbon goals.
