ECRL Genting Tunnel Construction wins the Certificate of Acknowledgement of IEM in TBM Undertaking

The Genting Tunnel of the Malaysia East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project was recently honored with the Certificate of Acknowledgement of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) in TBM Undertaking.
Stretching 16.39 kilometers, the Genting Tunnel is a critical component of the ECRL project and, upon completion, will be the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia. To date, excavation progress has reached 8,676 meters for the left bore and 7,686 meters for the right bore. The tunnel is slated for full breakthrough by mid-2025.
