At a recent promotional event for Cambodia's Investment Project Management System (cdcIPM) of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, Sun Chanthol, Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister, First Vice-Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, took on the role of "ambassador" for the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, which is built and operated by CRBC. During the opening ceremony, Sun Chanthol called on citizens to actively register for ETC services. He also visited CRBC's booth, passionately promoting the advantages of ETC, highlighting its convenience and efficiency.
As of December 1, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway has been operating safely and steadily for over 2 years, with cumulative traffic exceeding 10.78 million vehicles. Over 85,000 ETC devices have been issued, and nearly 70% of the total traffic utilizes non-cash payment methods, including ETC and ANPR systems.
