Since its opening in 2022, the bridge has accommodated a large traffic flow and significantly boosted the regional economy.

Recently, the Wenzhou Oujiang North Estuary Bridge, co-constructed by CCCC's Second Harbor Engineering, won the NCE Bridges Awards, presented by the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK.
This award is highly regarded in the field of bridge engineering, and the bridge was praised as a benchmark for future bridge design and construction.
The bridge is the World’s first triple-tower four-span double-deck steel-girder suspension bridge, with a total length of 7.9 kilometers. The main bridge crossing the Ou River stretches 2,090 meters. The upper deck is part of the Yongguan Expressway, designed for speeds of 100 km/h, while the lower deck is the National Highway G228, designed for speeds of 80 km/h, both carrying six lanes of traffic in each direction.
Since its opening in 2022, the bridge has accommodated a large traffic flow, with the upper deck handling around 25,000 vehicles daily and the lower deck about 15,000 vehicles. It has significantly boosted the regional economy.
