On September 21, the opening ceremony of the 6th China-Arab States Expo and the Belt and Road Trade and Investment Promotion Conference were held in Yinchuan. Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech at the China- Saudi Arabia Trade and Investment Promotion Meeting.
Chen Zhong stated that CCCC would closely follow the Belt and Road Initiative and Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to the high-quality development of Saudi Arabia's social and economic sectors. CCCC is committed to the principle of win-win cooperation to conduct business in Saudi Arabia. While actively implementing ongoing projects, the company aims to create more iconic China- Saudi Arabia cooperation projects. Additionally, CCCC will leverage its experience and advantages in green, low-carbon, energy-saving, and environmental protection to further support Saudi Arabia's green and sustainable development.
Before the opening ceremony, Chinese and guests from other countries toured the exhibition halls and visited CCCC's exhibition booth. They listened to Chen Zhong's presentation on the company's overseas development, particularly in Arab countries. The exhibition hall of CCCC showed the overall development of the company and the iconic projects in Arab countries, such as the projects in Jazan in Saudi Arabia and the Upper Atbara and Setit Dam Complex, the renovation and expansion of Friendship Port in Mauritania, and the RA210 highway project in Kuwait through videos, sand tables, graphics, VR and models. It also emphasized the company's social responsibility initiatives and cross-cultural achievements in Arab countries and regions.
During his visit to Ningxia, Chen Zhong attended an industrial park promotion event, where he introduced the Pakistan's Rashakai Special Economic Zone and the Morocco's Tangier Tech City. He also participated in the signing ceremony of projects at the China-Arab States Expo, witnessing the of signing of cooperation agreements of CCCC subsidiaries, including CRBC, China International Water and Electric Corporation, and First Highway Engineering, with various relevant enterprises.
