Recently, the cargo ship 'GSL Alice' from Europe arrived at Lekki Port in Nigeria and successfully completed the handling operation of more than 200 containers, generating the first business revenue for the port.
As one of the largest modern deep-water ports in West and Central Africa, Lekki Porthas two container berths, with a total waterfront length of 680m and a water depth of -16.5m at the channel and front. It can allow container ships as large as 18,000 TEUs to dock, with an annual designed capacity of 1.2 million TEUs.
