Recently, the Pasay Reclamation Development Project in the Philippines received a certificate of appreciation from the Coast Guard of the Cavite Province, which highly praised the project's heroic actions of rescuing four fishermen who fell overboard.
On January 20, JY1, a hopper dredger, found in its operating waters that there were 4 fishermen who fell into the water after their boat was overturned by waves. The captain immediately ordered to sail to the fishing boat for rescue, and successfully saved the four people who had been adrift at sea for two days and one night. The captain handed the fishermen blankets, clothes, hot water, cookies, and other items, and asked the dredger's medical staff to give them a physical examination. Afterwards, the Pasay Reclamation Development Project arranged a transportation boat to transfer the four fishermen to the dock and a car to send them back to Cavite.
