The surrounding rock of both tunnels is weak, making the construction highly challenging.
Rently, the Tunnel 15# and Tunnel 20# of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) undertaken by CCCC, were completed on the same day.
Both tunnels are double-track, single-bore tunnels. The Tunnel 15# has a total length of 220 meters, while the Tunnel 20# has a total length of 373 meters. The surrounding rock of both tunnels is weak, making the construction highly challenging.
