The successful handover of this section has laid a solid foundation for the completion and handover of the whole project.

On February 21, a section of the Abuja-Keffi road project, which is being constructed by CHEC, a subsidiary of CCCC, has passed all tests conducted by the acceptance team and completed its project handover.
The Abuja-Keffi road project is part of the expansion of Keffi—Akwanga—Lafia—Makurdi Road. The expansion of Keffi—Akwanga—Lafia—Makurdi Road includes a 5.4-kilometer Abuja-Keffi road and a 221.8-kilometer Keffi-Makurdi road. The Abuja-Keffi section involves adding two lanes on each side of the existing road, while the Keffi-Makurdi section involves upgrading the existing two-lane road into a four-lane one. The project will further enhance the connection between the capital city of Abuja and the eastern region, driving economic and industrial development in the states along the road.
At present, the project has entered the final stage of construction. The successful handover of this section has laid a solid foundation for the completion and handover of the project.
