Recently, the Sungai Pulai bridge in Johor, Malaysia, built by CCCC, was opened to traffic. Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Chief Minister of Johor, attended the opening ceremony.
The bridge is located at the upstream of Malaysia's second largest port, the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, and connects the southern Iskandar Special Economic Zone and the industrial park inTanjung Pinang. The bridge has a length of 7.5 kilometers and four lanes, comprising a 2.1-kilometer-long bridge over the river, two small bridges and approximately 4 kilometers of road base.
Once the project is completed and opened to traffic, the travel time between the two places will be shortened from 1 hour to 15 minutes, which will be of great significance to promoting regional industrial development, speeding up logistics transportation, and boosting Malaysia's economy and trade.
