Largest container terminal in Ivory Coast starts operation

With the completion of the project, the Port of Abidjan will boost the economic and social development of Ivory Coast.
Recently, the storage yard and general works of Abidjan Port in Ivory Coast, constructed by CHEC, a subsidiary of CCCC, welcomed the first container ship, marking the official operation of the largest container terminal in Ivory Coast.
The project is the second container terminal in the Port of Abidjan, with an annual throughput of more than 1.5 million TEU. It is the largest container terminal in Ivory Coast with the most advanced machinery and equipment, and is also certified as a "green terminal" by Bureau Veritas.
With the completion of the project, the Port of Abidjan will have the largest container throughput in Africa, which will greatly shorten the waiting time for ships at the port and boost the economic and social development of Ivory Coast.
