Soc Trang Phase I offshore wind power project handed over

Recently, the Phase I 30MW offshore wind power project in Soc Trang, Vietnam, which was constructed by CRBC, a subsidiary of CCCC, was successfully handed over.

Recently, the Phase I 30MW offshore wind power project in Soc Trang, Vietnam, which was constructed by CRBC, a subsidiary of CCCC, was successfully handed over.
The project is located in Soc Trang Province, Southern Vietnam, with a total installed capacity of 30MW. The work of CRBC is the construction of pile foundation and concrete bearing platform for 10 wind turbine foundations, preassembly, transportation and lifting of 10 sets of wind turbines and towers, and other key works of the project. The lifting of the wind turbines of was completed on schedule in October 2021.
The Soc Trang I offshore wind power project is expected to provide 101 million kWh of clean energy to Vietnam every year, saving 24,500 tons of standard coal annually, which is equivalent to planting 220 hectares of trees.
