Recently, with the last deck plate installed precisely, the Longli River bridge built by CCCC's Second Highway Engineering was closed up. Now the bridge will start the construction of glass walkways, sightseeing elevators and other ancillary facilities, and the project will be completed at the end of the year.

Longli River bridge is the key project of Longli County's connection with Longli Grassland Scenic Area. The bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with two towers, a length of 1260 meters, and 168 stay cables. The bridge is equipped with glass walkways, glass sightseeing platforms and sightseeing elevators, which is the only bridge in the world combining the functions of sightseeing and transportation.
Since the start of construction, the project has achieved fruitful results in construction safety, quality and technological innovation, and has been visited by all sectors of the community for many times.
The project got zero safety incidents in production. The creation of hydraulic assembly platform provided a closed working space, reducing the safety risk of working at heights and cross operation.
The project aims to build a smart and visualized construction site, combining BIM technology, BIM5D digital platform management, video monitoring system, meteorological monitoring system and other advanced technologies and equipment with bridge construction effectively to achieve collaborative management of safety, quality, progress, machinery, environmental protection, etc., and realize intelligent operation, management and maintenance.
The project has made breakthroughs in technology innovation, a total of 6 innovations, including 4 national patents, 2 work methods were created.
After completion, the project can not only solve the grassland external traffic problems, but also will greatly improve the surrounding road network. The bridge will also become a new attraction of Longli County, and a tourist route linking grassland, bridge, canyon, and countryside, attracting tourists from home and abroad.
