National Alpine Ski Center Project was awarded Luban Prize.

Recently, On May 23, the National Alpine Ski Center, which CCCC participated in, was awarded the 2022-2023 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (National Quality Project) by the China Construction Industry Association (CCIA). The award aims to recognize the outstanding contribution of the construction industry to the successful hosting of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, and inspire the whole industry to promote the spirit of craftsmanship and create more architectural works.
The National Alpine Ski Center, also known as the "snow swallow", consists of three ski runs and four training runs. It is the only alpine skiing venue with the highest difficulty and standards to meet the requirements of the Winter Olympic Games, and has undertaken all the competitions of the 11 sub-events of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games. Athletes have won 11 Winter Olympic gold medals and 30 Winter Paralympic gold medals here.
The second section of the National Alpine Ski Center, contracted by CCCC, has six ski runs, covering an area of 243,600 square meters, with a maximum slope of 69% and a drop of 1,298 meters. In the process of construction, many difficult problems have been overcome, and a technical system of coordination and symbiosis between venue facilities and ecological environment for the Winter Olympics has been constructed, which formed a complete theoretical system with the construction of alpine ski center, filling the gap in the construction technology of alpine skiing tracks in China, and accumulated experience for the construction of high-standard ski tracks both domestically and internationally.
