Recently, the reconstruction project of the Ancient Town Expressway in the Zhongshan City of south China's Guangdong Province opened to traffic.
Recently, the reconstruction project of the Ancient Town Expressway in the Zhongshan City of south China's Guangdong Province opened to traffic. The project is carried out by CRBC and will shorten travel time between the ancient town and the downtown area to 25 minutes.
The Shagu Highway is a fast line in the city's planned highway network and is located in the western part of the Zhongshan City. With a total length of 16.3 kilometers, the expressway is a one-level highway and also an urban road and has six lanes with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and four auxiliary lanes wtih a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour.
The completion of the project opened the transport artery in the western part of the Zhongshan City, boosts economic development, and accelerates industrial integration in the region.
