Recently, the main part of Ashdod Port's Quay 21 upgrade project in Israel, undertaken by China Harbor's Pan Mediterranean Engineering Company, was completed ahead of schedule and put into operation.
Ashdod Port, with 24 unloading terminals, is located in the city of Ashdod on the western coast of Israel, about 40 kilometers away from Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel. The shoreline of Quay 21 is 850 meters long. The main construction contents include the repair of underwater sheet piles, the demolition and upgrade of the old pier, and the construction of two new breasting dolphins and related supporting facilities.
As one of the most advanced grain and container ship unloading platforms in Israel, the project will provide efficient and convenient services for the circulation of goods in the surrounding areas.
