Wang Tongzhou Visits the Philippines and Meets with President of the Philippines


Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.positively evaluated capacities and achievements of CCCC.

At the end of January 2023, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, visited the Philippines and paid a courtesy call on Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. in Manila. The two sides discussed and exchanged views on deepening the construction of large transportation infrastructure, promoting the comprehensive management for large cities and exploring cooperation in agricultural infrastructure and other areas.
Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.positively evaluated capacities and achievements of CCCC. He said that CCCC has been promoting the eco-social development of the Philippines through its high-quality infrastructure projects over the years. He welcomed CCCC's to join in infrastructure investment and construction, comprehensive management for large cities, urban solid waste and watershed management and other fields in the Philippines to promote green and sustainable development and boost the development of renewable energy in the Philippines.
Wang Tongzhou said that CCCC has been contributing to the Philippines for more than 30 years and has successfully delivered the Binondo–Intramuros Bridge and the Estrella–Pantaleon Bridge, and has officially started the construction of the Davao–Samal Bridge and is also vigorously promoting the Subic-Clark Railway and the North and South Harbor Bridge. CCCC will play its advantage of the whole industry chain in large transportation and big cities construction, provide green, low-carbon and sustainable management solutions for large cities, and make new and greater contributions to the development of the Philippines.
Manuel Manligas Bonoan, Philippine Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways, Domingo F. Panganiban, Philippine Senior Undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture, Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC and Wang Jingchun, the head of CCCC's international business were present.
President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. posted the meeting on his facebook and the post received nearly 7,000 likes, over 500 comments and over 200 shares.
