On November 25, the China-ASEAN Cooperation and Development Forum on Building Industry and the 2022 China-ASEAN Building Industry and High Quality Living Environment Expo, themed on sharing new opportunities of RCEP and creating new future for building industry, opened in Nanning, Guangxi. Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech at the main forum.

In his speech, Wang Tongzhou said that high-quality development is the trend, win-win cooperation is the route we must take, and high-quality development of the building industry has an important supporting role in the accelerated building of a uniquely Chinese path to modernization. Facing the new situation and opportunities, in order to promote the industry upgrade and deepen cooperation among all parties, Wang Tongzhou put forward the following initiatives on behalf of CCCC: first, we should actively integrate into the overall strategic picture and strengthen the "value increment" of high-quality development of the construction industry; second, we should adhere to the driving force of scientific and technological innovation and enhance the "sci-tech content" of sustainable development of the construction industry; third, we should maintain the determination to go global, and deal with the "overseas variables" in the international development of the construction industry; Fourth, we should promote the governance change of the building industry, to enhance the "institutional quality" of the modern development of the construction industry; Fifth, we should strengthen cooperation among various parties, so as to activate the "cooperation energy" in the common development of the construction industry.

During the events, a series of exhibitions, the Luban Prize presentation ceremony, signing ceremonies and a series of forums were also held, and the annual top ten technical innovations in construction industry and the Construction Industry Technology Development Report (2022) were released.

After the opening ceremony, Wang Tongzhou visited the exhibition hall of CCCC at the 2022 China-ASEAN Building Industry and High Quality Living Environment Expo together with other guests. 8 CCCC subsidiaries participated in the exhibition, which focused on big cities, big transportation, river, lake and sea management, and showed the global layout of CCCC, the achievements of CCCC's cooperation with ASEAN countries and its contributions to a magnificent Guangxi.

Wang Tongzhou also attended the 2020-2021 Luban Prize presentation ceremony and the industry technology innovation conference, and presented awards to the winners together with other guests. A total of 21 projects of CCCC won Luban Prize (including 9 overseas projects) in 2020-2021, which sets another record high. Up to now, 113 projects of CCCC have won the Luban Prize.
