The global live broadcast of the world's highest sea catwalk challenge was successfully held at the Lingdingyang Bridge.

On June 26, the global live broadcast of the world's highest sea catwalk challenge & the open day for super projects built by CCCC was successfully held at the Lingdingyang Bridge in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, which was constructed by the Second Harbor Engineering of CCCC.
More than 50 media outlets' official accounts in China broadcasted the event on Douyin, Kuaishou, Bilibili, WeChat Video Channel, Weibo and other platforms, with more than 6 million viewers online and more than 50 million views in total. The overseas live broadcast reached nearly 50 countries around the world, covering a total of 94.214 million people overseas. The event went viral on the Internet.
The challenge lasted nearly 3 hours, starting from the east tower of the Lingdingyang Bridge and ending at the west tower of the bridge, with a total length of about 1,700 meters. The highest point of the catwalk is about 270 meters, equivalent to a 90-story building, and the lowest point is 105 meters.
Known as the "aerial scaffolding", the catwalk is an aerial construction channel for installing the main cable of a suspension bridge, which will run through the upper structure of the bridge. The Lingdingyang Bridge catwalk is designed to resist a category 14 typhoon.
Known as the world's highest sea bridge, the Lingdingyang Bridge is a key project of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area, with a height of 90 meters,. After the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Shenzhen-China Channel is another sea-crossing channel project built by CCCC, which consists of tunnels, man-made islands, bridges and underwater interchanges.
During the event, the challengers measured the "new height" of China's infrastructure with their feet. They have not only gained new knowledge about the bridge construction, but also felt the wisdom and commitment of the bridge builders.
