On November 29, the opening ceremony of the 2nd youth innovation and performance week, under the theme of “Taking Technology as the Forerunner and Setting Sail with Innovation — Technology Light up the Dream of Youth”, was held at CCCG’s office building. Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCG, and Wang Haihuai, General Manager of CCCG, send verbal messages to the CCCG youth. Sun Ziyu, Deputy General Manager of CCCG, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Zhang Xigang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of CCCG, attended the event and gave open lectures.

Wang Tongzhou said in his message that innovation is the hope of development, and the hope of innovation lies in the youth, hoping that the majority of CCCG youth could cherish opportunities, practice in a positive manner, and play a greater role in the realization of innovation-driven development of enterprises and the continuous strengthening and excellence of enterprises. He also added, it is necessary to further highlight the demand orientation, aim at high-end frontier fields and core technologies, continuously release innovation factors and efficiency, and create a source of original technology and an innovation highland of "CCCG created" and "CCCG Intelligent Manufacturing".

Sun Ziyu said in his speech that the 2nd youth innovation and performance week has provided the youth a stage to achieve their dreams, provided a platform for youth wisdom, and created an arena for youth, adding that the youth and scientific and technological workers of CCCG must bravely shoulder the historical mission, walk in the forefront of innovation and performance, and contribute their wisdom and strength to building a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness in science and technology, management and quality.

Zhang Xigang gave an open class entitled "Thoughts on the Development of China's Bridge Technology" and placed high expectations for the youth of CCCG.

The inauguration ceremony of CCCG's youth innovation studio was also held at the opening ceremony. Participating representatives from CCCC - First Harbour Eng. Co., Ltd, CCCC International Operations, and CCCC Highway Consultants CO.,Ltd made speeches.

From November 29 to December 3, the event will hold the road show and defense contest for innovative and effective projects, the 7th business English contest and the “building shared dreams for future of CCCC global builders” English talk show, the defense for building a youth innovation studio and other activities. Adopting a method of "promoting construction with competitions, promoting practice with competitions, and promoting learning with competitions", the event has comprehensively stimulated the youth’s enthusiasm for innovation and performance and examined their achievements in innovation and performance.

Yao Yanmin, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union of CCCG, was present at the event.

Forty representatives of young employees from CCCG headquarters and units stationed in Beijing attended the opening ceremony, and more than 20,000 young employees from the company participated in the event via video link.
